Verification result confirmation & dispute resolution
If nodes don’t successfully dispute the verification computation result within a certain timeframe, the verification is considered complete. The verified asset data is updated to the publisher’s datachain and a new block is published to the Tosi main chain.
If nodes notice fraud, fraudulent data sources or if data is unavailable, they contest the verification result. An off-chain computation dispute is initiated and selected nodes re-execute the data contract. If the computation result differs from the original computation, the publisher’s TOSI stake gets slashed. It takes only one honest node to catch fraud, making fraudulent behavior uneconomical.
