Overview of issuance & verification process

The Tosi network consists of the Tosi main chain, datachains, nodes, publishers and TosiScan.

  • Tosi main chain facilitates smaller datachains. Moreover, the main chain maintains a ledger of TOSI tokens, stakes for validation and data availability, and other relevant services for datachains.

  • Datachains are smaller, use-case and publisher-specific blockchains. Each publisher/asset issuer has their own unique datachain where their asset data are issued and verification results are updated.

  • Nodes cross-check computed verification results and ensure that the results are correct. One honest node is enough to catch fraud.

  • Publishers issue assets and data to be verified and stake TOSI tokens to increase their credibility.

  • TosiScan is an easy-to-use interface to check verification results.

Tosi's issuance and verification process includes five main stages:

  1. Publisher's identification

  2. Asset issuance & TOSI staking

  3. Asset verification

  4. Result confirmation & dispute resolution

  5. Result availability via TosiScan

These stages are described in more detail in the following chapters.
